About Us

The Siouxland Samplers Quilt Guild is made up of 100+ members living in and around Sioux City, IA. The guild was founded in 1988. The Siouxland Samplers Quilt Guild is an incorporated non profit 501(c)(3) organization with the purpose of creating and encouraging an interest in making, enjoying, and preserving quilts. Our Guild members also strive to make our community a better place by using our skills to benefit various community projects.

We hold our monthly guild meetings at Redeemer Lutheran Church at 3204 S. Lakeport (fairly close to the Southern Hills Mall in Sioux City). Meetings start at 7:00 pm the second Monday of each month (meetings start 30 minutes early in July & December when we have our potluck dinners). Use the South outside entrance to come into the meeting room.

Our Guild puts on a judged Quilt Show every other year in odd-numbered years. See the Quilt Show link for information about our upcoming show. And click on the slide show on the main page to see the ribbon-winning quilts from the past show.

If you are looking for a way to connect with other quilters, please join us at a guild meeting. We welcome quilters from newbies to experts. Membership dues are $20.00 a year. You will enjoy the informative meetings and workshops, the monthly newsletter, and the inspiration you can't help but pick up from our Show and Tell quilts at every meeting.

If you would like to use postal mail to contact us, our address is: Siouxland Samplers Quilt Guild, P.O. Box 162, Sioux City, IA 51102.
